On Christmas Eve Will’s weight had dipped to 8lbs 12 oz…and just 5 days later he had gained an entire pound. His first gold star…from his midwife Candace. No issues eating here…I wonder where he gets that from?

We had a great xmas – the first one that Tal was really in to. She woke up every morning since our tree went up saying she had dreams about Santa and her Christmas tree…and on Christmas eve was singing jingle bells in bed as she fell asleep. Very cute. Rach and Mike joined us for the holidays this year – so nice to have them close.

Here are a few pics.  We’ll try to be better at actually taking photos – when Tal was born I’m pretty sure Jay had already taking more than 200 pics in the first 48 hours.  With Will it’s more like 10.  Technology makes it even harder…now we have them spread out over multiple devices vs. just one.  We’re working on it.

We finally welcomed our new addition…William Joseph Purvis, born at 2:47 am on December 22nd. Weighing in at 9lbs 8ozs, 21 inches long and a full head of dark hair. All are doing well…Tal is adjusting to being a big sister and has been really helpful so far (with the exception of trying to put a puzzle in his mouth).  He’s going to learn survival skills early 😉

More to come. We’re attempting to resurrect the blog…but please be patient.  I’m still going to be working…and free time is pretty much nil so no guilt trips when there has been a lack of posting. We are lucky to have skype now which is a great alternative when you need an update 😉
