Part 1 of our trip was a stop in the USVI.  We weren’t sure we were going to be able to get away early, so we booked a last minute week at the Marriott, packed up our stockings, and let Santa know where to find us. Was a great week of R&R, sitting by the pool, building sand castles…and not much else. Good prep for Part 2 – Set Sail!

Will loved throwing stuff off the balcony – this stocking lasted about 10 seconds after this pic was taken. Not quite so much fun for mom and dad 😉

This was our favorite pool – perhaps because it had a swim up bar? Tal made some great friends here…and learned how to snorkel for our sailing trip.

Dad made friends too. Over cocktails.

And just chilled out.
